She has played a significant role in healthcare leadership and rural development, successfully spearheading the establishment and operationalization of a specialized eye hospital in rural West Bengal. She has collaborated with Sight Savers International and the Southern Health Improvement Samity (SHIS) to improve accessibility to eye care for underserved populations.
