Chaithanya Sight Foundation Eye Hospital- Vellanad
The Chaithanya Sight Foundation Eye Hospital is inaugurated in 2023, to provide community-based ophthalmic services, especially to the poor and needy in rural areas.
One of its main goals is prevention of blindness. It aims to identify eye diseases in underserved communities, offer free or subsidized surgeries (especially cataract), medical treatment, screenings, awareness about eye health and eye donation, etc.
