She pursued her MD and Senior Residency from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi.

Her main areas of interest include corneal ulcers, ectatic disorders of cornea, ocular surface disorders, ocular allergy and laser vision correction surgeries.

She also plays a major role in academic teaching and has presented at various state and national conferences.
