Dr Ann Mary Mathews is an experienced cataract and glaucoma specialist with nearly a decade of surgical expertise and over 1500 successful phacoemulsification procedures. She is trained in advanced phacoemulsification and micro-incision cataract surgery (MICS).

She completed her long-term fellowship in Glaucoma and Anterior Segment Surgery at the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital and Research Institute, Madurai. Following her fellowship, she served as a consultant in the Department of Glaucoma at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai before joining Chaithanya Eye Hospital and Research Institute.

Dr Ann Mary Mathews is trained in advanced glaucoma surgeries including Trabeculectomy, Triple Surgery, Non-penetrating Deep Sclerectomy, Glaucoma Drainage Implant surgeries (AADI, AGV) and Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (KDB Glide, Tanito Microhook). She combines precision surgical skills with compassionate patient care to deliver optimal visual outcomes.
