Dr Manoj S is an Accredited Senior Vitreoretinal Surgeon and is currently the Head of the Vitreoretinal Services at Chaithanya Eye Hospital and Research Institute, Trivandrum.

Committed to clinical excellence, he has over 20 years of experience in the field of vitreoretinal diseases with exposure at many international centres.

Skilled in laser and vitreoretinal surgery for various retinal and macular diseases, his areas of interest include treating complex retinal disorders including Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Diseases, Retinal Detachment, Advanced Retinal Imaging and Inherited Retinal Diseases.

Dr Manoj S completed a prestigious Vitreoretinal Fellowship at Aravind Eye Hospital and Post Graduate Institute of Ophthalmology, Madurai and completed observerships at Wilmer Eye Institute (Johns Hopkins, USA), New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Centre, Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre and Retina Vitreous Macula Consultants at New York.

He takes a keen interest in teaching and fellowship training (FNB Retina) and clinical research and is the Director of Research at Chaithanya Eye Hospital and Research Institute, Trivandrum.
