She completed her undergraduate studies at Christian Medical College Ludhiana, followed by postgraduate training (M.S Ophthalmology) at Christian Medical College Vellore.

She subsequently pursued a long term clinical fellowship in Uvea and Medical Retina at Narayana Nethralaya, Bengaluru.
